OK, here's a solution to the tax-cuts for the wealthy dilemma. We're looking at the tax rates having been reduced for the wealthiest Americans by 4.6% since 2001. Now, as a matter of fact, these folks don't ever, ever, ever actually pay anywhere near 35% of their income, so this whole debate is actually just posturing and bloviating, but bear with me, we can still make some positive Democratic hay with this thing! Offer the Repubulicans this compromise... Instead of continuing the straight up tax cuts this bracket has been getting, offer them instead a tax refund of EQUAL VALUE at the end of each year for every dollar they spend on 100% AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS. They must produce valid receipts to get their tax refund. This will employ extra CPA's and accountants. Call this program the BUY AMERICA PROGRAM. Or AMERICA FIRST PROGRAM or CASH NOT CREDIT PROGRAM. Spin it as the only patriotic option. I see an Uncle Sam on stilts selling this pretty well...LOL All kidding aside, the current system is unrealistic and unfair. This solution would help!
